I have two Harmony remotes (One & 900). I just bought a device for use with the Harmony One, and I am already using that same device in the room controlled by the Harmony 900. I would like to save the time required to perform the device setup all over again on the 900, so I'm hoping there is a way that I can simply copy the defition from my 900 account to my One account.
It certainly would be nice if this is possible.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Bruce-reid,
Sorry but we cannot transfer/copy device settings from or going to harmony 900 to different models or vice versa.
Regards
Ron

Ron,
Thank you for your reply. I think it is unfortunate that an import/export facility is not available. Perhaps Logitech will consider adding this feature.
As a software developer, having worked on embedded firmware projects among others, I am familiar with issues that might be encountered to support a configuration that may have been exported some long time in the past, and may not be importable because of code changes since that time. But with proper care taken to maintain backward compatibility, it can be done.
Even when exporting from one device (such as the 900), and importing to a different device (such as the One), I imagine most of the properties are common (exceptions such as those relating to the RF capability of the 900, etc.). Even those differences could be easily handled.
Pleas ask you engineering team to consider adding a feature like this. It could prove very convenient for your users.
Thank you,
Bruce
