Update to the latest version of the java this should resolve your issue with it not going through the update.

It may also be an issue with favorite channels do you have any set up?

you will want to look at your Tele HD, ither any activity that it is in or the device it self, I could be a command that is not working, delete and re add the deviece.

Also since the update is failing at 3% check to make sure firewalls and anti virus is disabled on your computer
