This is likely a silly question but how do I select the DLNA (UPNP) input for my LG LW5700 TV? The input is not listed; e.g. HDMI1 to 4, Component 1-2, etc are listed but no DLNA. Do I have to contact Logitech support to have it added?
Google has not been of help...

What Specific Method of InputSettings are you using?
Have you tried to go to device mode and tried all of the input commands? there is a possibility that there is a discrete input command for your DLNA (UPNP)
You can add another input on your TV by going to settings --> Adjust Inputs --> Select Method 1-4 ( Usually it is Method 2/Discrete for this model ) --> add the input ---> if there is a discrete command select that command to the DLNA input that you added ( if there isnt you need to change the Method of the Input Settings ) --> Update Remote
Keep me posted regarding the Result.

Thanks for getting back to me. I checked and the DLNA input is not listed. The closest (as in New York to Los Angeles ;-) is an AV setting. I don't think that it matters but DLNA is NOT listed as an input on the original remote.
What should I try next?

You Need to add the DLNA input so that you can just Method 3. the list of your inputs should be the same on your TV.
Then it will be asking if you are skipping inputs --> Remote button displays source inputs menu Select Input/InputNext --> Remote button cycles through source inputs Select DirectionDown/InputNext ---> Remote button that confirms the source input select Ok/Enter/Select. then just press next until your done and Update your Remote

I tried you suggesion in several different versions. The problem seems to be that the LG TV only "sees" the inputs that are active. In this case, DLNA will not show up until the TV sees the DLNA server broadcast which may take a minute or so.
Also, the input order seems to change somewhat depending on the order the TV recognizes them as being active. This leads to the Logitech remote being confused sometimes in determining what TV input it has to select. The Logitech remote, or maybe it is the TV itself, has a way direct selecting the input. You _can_ use the input button on the original LG remote to cycle through the inputs but again the order of the inputs may not be consistent from time to time. This means if, say, you are watching TV (Bell-Aliant FibreOp set top box - close enough to AT&T but still not quite there, but that is another story...) using the set top box when you switch to watching a BluRay the incorrect input is selected.
I think that I have to put a support call into Logitech...
[UPDATE] After more searching it seems that I _can_ use direct input select. BUT DLNA is NOT listed as an option. I cannot figure out how to add the DLNA input as a direct selection item...

is this already solved? if there are no Discrete input for DLNA input. try setting the Activity to the input before DLNA and then add a functionality to press InputNext or Input Command.
