Hello!!
I have a Logitech 650 and it's working great!!
I'm looking at adding some more functionality to my system and one thing I want to add is an amplifier, but it'll be ~20 feet away from were the main room is. Is it possible to be able to power this amplifier on and off based on the activity that I chose on my 650?? Is there any accessory that will allow me to accomplish this, or any 3rd part device that will do this??
Any help will be greatly appreciative!!
Thanks in advance!!
Dave

The Harmony 650 can only control devices in line of sight. If you plan to control devices from a different location, I would recommend that you get the Harmony 900 or the Harmony 1100. These remotes can control Infrared devices even if those devices are in another room or out of sight or inside the cabinets. You can check the website for the other features of these 2 remotes.

You can go and look for an IR bridge. They go by many names. IR repeaters, wireless IR extenders, etc.
This is an interesting one that works with some Harmony remotes and devices. http://hd.engadget.com/photos/next-generation-remo
Most others requires two boxes that you need to plug in for power one in the room the harmony will be used in the other in the room the amp will be in.
