DaneHarmony - a few quick questions for you.
1) Is Logitech going to come out with a 64 bit driver?
At this time there is not a 64 bit driver that will work with these three remotes, and I do not have an estimated time when one could become available. However, the remotes will still Sync and work if you boot into 32 bit mode when you need to update any settings on your remote.
2) I'm thinking of just buying a new Logitech remote. If I buy a Harmony One, will I be able to run the software without any problem using my 64 bit OS (10.6.8)?
Yes. A Harmony One uses the standard HID USB driver and is not affected by this same issue.
Please see my answers in-line above.

Thanks for your reply. Much appreciated!
Just so I am perfectly clear - if I buy a Harmony One and I setup and update it either through the web interface or through the supplied software, I will be able to do so from my 64 bit Mac OS?

Logitech is a bunch of [please be courteous]. i spent close the 300 **bleep**ing dollars on this piece of **bleep** and it doesn't work. I have been reading all of the bull**bleep** you guys are posting. Are you kidding me? A legitimate, large company like yours will sell a product like this and it doesn work?
You guys don't answer your phones and you don't reply to customer inquires. And... on top of it all, the company I bought it from has a no return policy.
Please REPLY ASAP!!!!!! Give me REAL instructions, if there are any, to make this remote work with my MAC. Your crappy software doesn't recognize the USB connection on the remote. I just spent the last 2 hours reading 7 pages of nonsense.

[edited] Logitech - I just burned up $250 on your dumb remote and not only do I have to "register" - but I have to reboot my mac into 32 mode? You guys are a joke - glad I kept the box.

What's going on at Logitech? The latest Harmony models are now years old already and they don't seem to update the software or firmware anymore, certainly not in a timely manner. Either there is a completely new and revolutionary remote in the pipeline that's going to be announced soon and will replace the current models, or they've chosen to just sit there and wait until some real competition comes up and forces them to work...

When will you have support for 64 bit systems? This is an expesive remote (H 900). It really should work with the latest OS on mac.

Please see DaneHarmony's reply above at the top of this page.
Here is a FAQ about how to update your Harmony remote when using Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and 10.7 (Lion) 64-bit:
This is on the post on page 1 of this thread as well.

I'm sorry, but I want to be clear:
-Booting into 32-bit mode does not solve the problem on OS X 10.6.8 or 10.7.
-After following the Network Settings instructions, the computer sees (at least in 10.6.8) the remote just fine. The Harmony software, however, does not communicate with it.
This is not a failure of anything except the Harmony software and/or drivers on the remote. Knowing that many of us now have useless $300 remote controls, I'd just like a simple answer from Logitech as to when we can expect a fix, and barring that, where I can get a refund for my $300 paperweight.

The issue comes from a miscommunication between the software and the Logitech servers. As long as your remote is showing up in your network settings, with a valid IP, you have no hardware issues.
Go into the software, and into Preferences, Login Information, Change one of those fields then hit next until your done.
This will "re-sync" your account with Logitech, and youll be able to update ur remote right away.
Spent a good chunk of time trying to sort this out. Hope it helps everyone on here!
