Multiple remote mix-ups

Hi, I've just purchased my 3rd remote.  I had a 300 and a 600 and I've purchased anotther 300 to replace the 600 which is failing and I hate anyway.  I created a new account for the lounge added the devices and sync-ed it to the old 300.   For the new remote I went into my existing account for the main bedroom and tried to sync with the new 300.  The sync screen came up but nothing happened.  I deleted and installed my devices thinking that would trigger a complete sync.  Once again the sync screen came up but nothing happened.  Can someone help with this problem?

Re: Multiple remote mix-ups

With MyHarmony.com, each remote requires it's own account, you can not sync a remote to another account even if both remotes are the same model number.  For your new 300, you have to create a brand new account, you cannot use your old 300 account or your old 600 account.  One user a few months back inquired about buying 750 300 remotes, it sounded like he was going to use them in a hotel, all would be used controlling the same equipment.  He has told by a Harmony person that he would have to have 750 accounts to program them, it was not possible to create one account and sync all 750 remotes to the one account.

Ok - I used the new account to sync the new remote, but now the old account won't sync the old remote even though I've removed or changed the devices a couple of times.  The sync screen comes up but nothing happens.  Going to try creating a 4th account.  Running out of email addresses though.

Re: Multiple remote mix-ups

You don't need an actual e-mail accout, it only has to look like an e-mail account, be in the same format, such as xyz@my.com
