Need product info on Harmony 700

I've had the 700 for a year and a half, and in the last 6 mos. it's been hard to recharge, because the plug appeared to be loose in the wall socket, or something was loose, because it would stop charging during the night.  It would take about 3 nights to get it fully charged.

 

Last night after it failed to charge the night before, I decided to plug it into the surge protector which lies flat on the floor and see if that would work.  Well, luckily it charged the remote, but when I pulled the plug it fell apart.  The part that holds the plugs separated from the rest of the adapter.  :smileysad:

 

I looked at the Logitech web site info on the Harmony 700, and didn't see anything about ordering new battery rechargers.  Can someone tell me if they sell them, or is this remote just  junk when the battery dies now?  TIA for any responses.

I believe you are referring to the AC adapter of the Harmony 700, as mentioned on your email the remote is already 1 year and a half so it means that the remote is already out of the warranty. And will not be able to process a replacement, you can call are sale department if you want to purchase a new AC adapter 1-800-231-7717. Or if you want to purchase it at the Logitech website please follow this steps:

 

>On the home page click Support then select Support + Downloads
>Click Harmony Remotes
>Find Harmony 700 Advance Universal Remote then click on it
>Then find Harmony Remote Software
click on Yes, I used the software above for setup
>Then on the next page on the right side you will  see Replacement Parts and below it you need to click on See All
>After that you will  see AC Adaptor for H700 you can click on Add to Cart to purchase

Thanks... I finally found the adapter under products and ordered one yesterday.  I must have looked under accessories only, when I checked their website before. 

 

I really appreciate your detailed response though, it should benefit others in the future.  :smileyhappy:
