I just purchased two Harmony One remotes to use in our house. I have one of them set up but have a couple of questions,
We have cable but just the basic service. We do get HD channels but they are on the QAM channels, like our ABC HD Channel is on 16-1 on one TV a Samaung and on our Sony TV's it is 16.1. Can you program faviorate channels to such channels and if so how do you enter that in the setup?
My next question is based on setting on the Samsung TV. I want it to set it up that when we want to watch TV it will turn on the TV and our JVC HT setup. But how can you instruct it to turn off the TV main speakers?
Thanks in advance...

yes you can program fav channels in like that, just make sure that you have taught the harmony that command either the "." or the "-".
Here is the link for teaching commands:

Second part of your question
It can be done but it is not fun, also if you create alot of these start up actions it will not work.
You can do this by creating a bunch of start up actions for that activity where you do not want the TV speakers on, you would have to enter every step that your TV would take to get them turned off, this link ill help you

As i said if there is more than like 5, or 6 steps, it may not work, start up actions are not ment to do a really long string of commands
