Harmony Remotes

I've lost my power supply for my extender and was hoping to be able to power it via usb (plugged into my Airport Extreme). All the lights on it are on, and the RF light blinks when I send a signal from my remote. My devices are not responding, however. I guess I will have to find a 5v power supply for it then. Too bad! Could someone please confirm that USB does not power the extender correctly?

Which Harmony and which extender?
