Had my Harmony 900 for around 3 weeks when it suddenly turned completely black. Contacted Customer Support, who after having asked some questions and to do some tests, offered to send me a new remote. All well and fine.
Then I needed to have some other e-mail correspondence with some "level 2 tech support" asking the same questions again. Until they also offered to send me a new remote.
Now, the new remote was delivered through UPS (this company and its inflexibility is another story...) and after having driven to their terminal (total drive 1 hour) I finally managed to get my new remote.
Until I got home just now only to find that the remote that Logitech had sent me from Switzerland was a Harmony ONE!
Incredibly embarrassing! So I will need to wait for another week or two to get a new remote, and to get UPS to actually deliver it to me, or I will have to go to UPS myself. And then I have been without a remote for a month, because the first one broke down after 3 weeks.
My questions are:
1. Has anyone encountered the same problem with the H900 turning dead?
2. Has anyone experienced the same incompetence from Logitech when sending out a replacement product?
I mean, this is a EUR350 remote...!
Best regards,
Andréas Kronblad
Stockholm, Sweden

The only experiance I have had with needing a replacement out of many remotes I have installed was quite smooth and without incident.

No, you're right: I will give them a second chance. After all, they replaced my dead remote without much complaining, so in that sense it was a positive experience.
However, I will now have to wait another week at least before getting a new remote. Plus that it has been a hazzle to get UPS to deliver the new remote and change the delivery address, etc. Their delivery span is 9AM-5PM so means needing to be at home all day. And now I will need to encounter UPS again.. ![]()
But that's a UPS problem, not a Logitech one.
Will be interesting though to see how Logitech will handle this new situation. Will they trust me in having receiving a Harmony ONE, for example? (I have sent them the PID and the S/N so it shouldn't be a problem.) But what will they request me to do with the ONE? Ship it back?

They will probably disable the bad remote and you will keep it

Yes. Within 3 weeks of purchasing, spending money on programming the device, and numerous (3-4) troubleshooting visits becasue the remote did not control all my devices properly; the screen went white and the Harmony H900 Remote has stopped working! Manuel Torres, San Francisco CA

I have had nothing but problems myself, it started with little glitches here and there but thought nothing of it. I don;t use it much. But when I do it doesnt work. Realizing that a year went by now the unit does not work at all. Black screen, then I held the button down for awhile and now its stuck in safe mode. I can;t even download.

Chech your battery to see if it has swollen.

Have tried 3 different charged batteries. They don't seem swollen to me.
