Hi, I have a new 628 (my 1st Harmony) and I would like to know if there is a way to program a button to start an executable. What I am trying to do is be able to start the My Movies MCE plugin using the remote.
thanks!

Absolutely, but let me warn you this is going to take a while to program. Get Girder, from Promixis software. Read their forums for the ideal way to set this up with Media Center.
This is a very, very powerful tool I hope you find it useful. The direct link to the site is http://www.promixis.com/

I'm not sure but you may also be able to edit the controls as defined by MCE. Chech thegreenbutton.com for more info on configuring MCE more ideally for your setup.

Thanks!
I have looked at Girder and it's complexities before, but I am trying to keep it as simple as possible and would also like to keep any middleware out of it. I will check the greenbutton forums again and post a question there.
thanks again,
