Roku and loss of speakers?

Thanks to this forum, I was able to set up most of our Roku functions using our Harmony 900 - but not all.  Still, we just used the ROKU remote for the few that we needed.  However, last night we went to watch another movie streamed through our Roku, but we lost most of our speakers for some reason???  Only the front couple worked??  We just streamed a movie last week without any difficulty.  Hmmm........   Any suggestions??

Re: Roku and loss of speakers?

Initially you have to check the cable connections if nothing got disconnected. If it was working last week, it is possible that the movie you were watching last week was a high definition movie capable of surround sounds. So it also depends on the movie that you are watching.  The movie that you were trying to watch recently may not be a high definition movie or the surround sound was not enabled. You may try again to watch another high definition movie to check if it is still the same and make sure surround sound is enabled.
