Sequences no longer upload

I am having a new problem with programming sequences.  It seems as though Logitech's web server has changed something, because I have not changed the firmware or software.

I have been able to create sequences in the past with no problem.

I tried to create a new sequence and put it on as an additional button.

The sequence is not being uploaded to the remote, but all other changes are uploaded successfully.

If I program the sequence on to an "additional button," i.e. a soft button on the LCD screen, the button is blank.  (I can program a non sequence as an additional button and it works properly).

If I program the sequence to a regular button, that button does not transmit anything.  WHen I change the button to transmit a single command, it then transmits it.

The sequences which I had programmed months ago continue to work on the buttons that they are programmed to, but I cannot program that sequence on to any other button.

I tried creating a new activity and tried adding a sequence with the same results.

Can anyone help?

Re: Sequences no longer upload

I'm having similar problems with a 785.

I just replaced my TV and had to rearrange some inputs. I had sequences assigned to the red, green, yellow, blue buttons and one on a "additional button" on the led screen.

After reconfiguring I still have a button on the led screen (labelled "bluray") which doesn't exist in the online remote setup .  If I try to assign a sequence to the button it  (or a nothe button on the second page)  button it doesn't show up. When activated the bluray button just seems to select HDMI3 - which I might have put there several updates ago.

Also one of my other sequences (on the red button) is supposed to switch to HDMI3 on the TV and select an audio source. What it actually does is selects HDMI3, the audio, then HDMI2. If I hold my hand over the IR transmitter after it's selected HDMI3 I can stop it selecting HDMI2 so it's definitely transmitting that code, even though it's not in the sequence.

Basically sequences seem to be unreliable and don't like being assigned to additional buttons and for some reason can emit spurious IR codes.

I've tried updating the remote  from "safe mode" and I still have the bluray button on the LED screen even though this button is currently unassigned in the harmony software.

Re: Sequences no longer upload

Interestingly, if I access my account via  http://members.harmonyremote.com and not through the harmony remote software there are 2 ways of seeing the buttion setup, one from "buttons and menus" on the home screen and one from "more options". These showed 2 different sets of buttons for the same activity and I couldn't add a sequence to the "butons and menus" version without generating an error. The buttons I see in the remote software are the same as the buttons from the "more options" version but they weren't being uploaded to the remote. So somethign looks kind of confused with my account.

I ended up making a new account and started the setup from scratch and it seems to be working correctly now.
