I have a very odd problem, for three years my Harmony 885 worked like a charm then suddenly it will only turn the volume down. It doesn't matter if you hit the volume '+' button it will still just go down until eventually my AV receiver will just mute.

What is very odd is that if I program 'additional commands' to 'volume down = 1' and volume up = 2' it works fine!

I have tried different AV receivers and the issue still repeats every time and while I can just use 'additional commands' I'd rather not as the 'additional commands' are not built for continual pressing.

If you can help I'd really appreciate it.

Hi twobells, 

If you have tried to mapped the Volume down and Volume up on a different button and it works, it's possible that the Volume Up is already defective.
