Volume up button on 525 not responding

Hi, today my volume up button on my 525 has started not responding correctly. The blue light doesn't come on when you push it, so no signal is being sent. I physically have to push and hold it down HARD to send a signal. The volume down button under it, and the mute button above it, work fine. I checked the settings with the remote software and it is assigned to the amp to do a volume up. Is the button physically damaged? What can I do to check it?

There is a bad button Troubleshooting FAQ available;

A button on my 500 series remote (including the Harmony Advanced Universal Remote for Xbox 360) isn'...

If you prove that the button is bad, and the same command works fine from the LCD screen or another button, then use the 'Email Us' link to contact support, or go to 'More Help' in your software, and click on 'Contact Us' tab.  There will be a 'Warranty Claim' button listed in there if you are still within your warranty support period.

Re: Volume up button on 525 not responding

Thanks for replying, but unfortunately it's out of warranty by a year. I've seen on other forums that it's a common problem, which is a shame.
