What Harmony 1100 to match existing RF Extender

I have just been made aware that Harmony 1100 and RF Extenders from different parts of the world are not compatible together.

I originally got a harmony 890 off eBay from china which came with the RF extender. Now the remote has stopped working I want to upgrade to a 1100.

The number on my extender are:

M/N: C-RE4A

P/N: 815-000013

PID: LZ845BH065J

How do I find out what part of the world where to buy a compatible harmony 1100 remote from and when I'm buying the remote how can I be sure that it will be compatible with my existing RF extender. E.g. do you match the numbers from the extender to the remote?

I live in Australia and can't buy a remote from here as they are the 1100i model and are not compatible at all with any RF extender.

I was hoping to just buy one from the USA?

Thanks for your help.

Re: What Harmony 1100 to match existing RF Extender

Hi Isaacparkes,

Harmony 1100 should be compatible with any RF extender.

Harmony 1100i is not compatible with RF extender.

Once you have purchased a harmony 1100 any RF extender should work. it doesnt matter where you purchase it

Re: What Harmony 1100 to match existing RF Extender

The 1100 will not work with the 900's Blaster, It will work with any 3rd party RF extender in IR mode only the 1100 will send IR to the 3rd party's Transmitter, and it will in turn send RF to it's Receiver which will then send IR to the devices. It will work with the 890 and 890 Pro's or 1000 RF Extender

Re: What Harmony 1100 to match existing RF Extender

Hi IsaacParkes,

Based on the P/N of your Logitech Harmony RF Extender, it is a North American version.  You should purchase a Harmony  H1000 that is a North American version as well.  The P/N of the Harmony 1100 that is compatible with your RF Extender is 815-000043.

Re: What Harmony 1100 to match existing RF Extender

Thank you for your reply. The most common part number I can find for sale on ebay.com is PN 915-000074.

Is this the same as the 815-000043????

What is the differance between the the 915-000074 and the 815-000043???

Hi IsaacParkes,

The difference between the 2 part numbers is that 815-numbers are use for internal purposes, but the product itself is the same.

Hi IsaacParkes,

"Internal Purposes" only means that it is the control number use within the company.
