Harmony Remotes

Just wonderring where things are up to (if at all) with providing the ability to Customise Activity icons.  Lots of posts have been made on this topic, and new models have been and are being developed since.  What is happenning so far?

i'm with you ian. fully customizable would be ideal, but i'd at least like the option to assign 'logitech-created' activity icons to any activity i wish. i currently listen to my radio thru my dvr and would really like to assign the 'listen to radio' icon to that activity rather then a satellite dish.

would also be nice if they updated the batch... a blu-ray icon would be welcome?

Not only updating but making more meaningful - where does popcorn come into anything?

Both your points are in agrrement with me.  But my post was to find out where Logitech are up to on this.

HH when you go to a show (Theatre) in the US you always by a box of pop corn to eat while enjoying the movie.

Just one more customer adding in that they would like to see this functionality added sometime soon.

At this moment Logitech does not have the functionality of customizing activity icons on the harmony remote.  We are defiantly doing some customizations on the recent remotes where you can change icons in the activity menu ( implying the Harmony 1100).  Changes are happening regarding customizing icons but at this time for the activities there is no news about it.  Harmony is always doing changes with there software and functionality from time to time to make the remote more customization for the end users

who are we kidding...we won't see any new features rolled out on existing remotes...logitech likes to introduce new features on new remotes and then not introduce those features on older remotes despite the appearance of it being possible by a firmware update....

heck, we can't even get logitech to fix wording in the software (remove samsung from the description of method #3 for input selection, a lot of samsungs use method #2....the wording for the checkbox that allows immediately display of favorites on the One when starting the activity....etc....)
