Below are the Hex codes for Power Suspend, Discrete Power On & Discrete Power Off. (Power Suspend is Power Toggle in Logitech's database. I have tested them on Windows 7 with a standard Microsoft IR receiver and they work correctly.
Please Logitech add these codes to the database.
The primary hex codes are as follows:
Device Code: 128.3972 Function: 12 (0x0C,0x00,0x00,0x00, 0x03,0x82,0x00, \ ; Suspend)

Hi and thanks for this topic,
I too would very much be interested in discrete MCE on/off/Sleep additions to the Harmony database.
Please keep us posted if you get positive feedback from Logitech on this issue!
Cheers

AWESOME!!! ![]()
I now have the PowerOn and PowerOff codes on my account and have performed all possible tests to confirm that the new codes are working correctly and not just toggling. All tests worked perfectly!
Thank you Nelson!!!

Hello all,
Just in case CS needs access to the codes, please point them to the incident number: 100311-004934
We should be able to add these to our existing database, but until then, you can try contacting us regarding this issue.
With regards to PowerOn though, i wonder how that works. As far as I know, USB is processed by the CPU, so how does the PowerOn for the IR receiver turn on the computer? Does the PowerOn take the computer out of suspend/standby? Or is it really a power on command if the computer is shut off?

Hi Nelson
On my machine, the USB IR receiver can wake it only from "S3" standby. It cannot work from hibernate or power off. However, in S3 standby, there are no moving parts running on the computer, so it's a good compromise.
Also, in Vista and Windows 7, if you lose power whilst in standby no harm is done. By default, Windows uses Hybrid Sleep which means that a hibernate file is created before entering standby mode. If power is lost whilst on standby, turning the computer back on afterwards is equivalent of resuming from hibernate.
