hi guys

The remote was working fine then when the battery came out, I put it back in and turned it back over the was showing everything upside-down I may have been holding one of the buttons in ??

can any one help.

Have you tried to update firmware and recalibrate screen?

yep got onto suport and they ran through going into safe mode and updation firmware

no good so far

 And screen calibration?

1) Unplug the battery.
2) Hold the power button and plug in the battery. you will see "Safe Mode" displayed
3) Unplug the battery again.
4) Plug in the battery again. You should see a calibration screen

Being the 1000i model, I SUSPECT you MAY be in Australia.  In which case it IS upside down.
