Hi

   Is anyone using logitech remote with pioneer vsx-1022 AV receiver? I tried with both logitech 550 and 700 remotes. They did not work properly. The AV receiver does not power ON or OFF and also does not switch the inputs correctly. Any experiences or tips for me?

I have the VSX1122 and Harmony 900 and everything seems to be working as expected, beyond the lack of discrete codes that I am trying to get from Pioneer.

Beyond powering on and off, what inputs are you using and what is not working? For instance are you using HDMI1 and the HDMI1 input button is not working? Or are you using DVD to indicate HDMI1? If that is the case you may want to make sure the receiver is mapping the name to the HDMI input you desire since they are all assignable and rename-able.

You may want to delete the receiver and readd it to your account.

I have a similar problem with my H900 and pioneer vsx-1022-k  When I try to use the activity,  It does not turn on/off the receiver.  I have to specifically go to the devices and only then I am able to control the vsx-1022

I am having the same issue with my Harmony One. It does not turn the 1022 on or off. I tried from the 'Devices' menu, tried the 'Learn' method, nothing helps. In the 'Learn' method, when I press the Pioneer's buttons, Logitech software detects them. However, after downloading them to the Harmony, they can't control the 1022. That does not make any sense to me.

Does anyone know if this is an issue with the 1022, or the Harmony?

I am having same exact issue with Harmony 700 and Pioneer VSX-1022-K.  It won't power on and off from the activities - must go into the device and power it on and off manually.  Also, tried learn with no change.

Can someone from Logitech help us out here?????

I had thought that this was a problem with my nbew VSX-1022. I had been using a vsx-1020 with my harmony for several years and it worked just fine. I had been having problems with the unit detecting the IR from the blaster (even when it was directly in front of iT!!). I tried everything to try to resolve it.

I am now convinced this is a logitech problem. If i set up my "activities" to use my old VSX-1020 the VSX-1022 receives the codes and works just fine!! This would be a work around for anyone having similar problems until logitech fixes this issue. Its a little pain in the behind because not all the functions of the two units are the same.

Come on logitech lets get this fixed

Thanks K9BOLX! That's a great work around. I deleted 1022 and added it as 1020. I can do the basic functions from the 'Devices' menu. I haven't setup the 'Activities'. Will do that tomorrow and see how it performance.

That made my day. Now I am confident that a future Logitech update will get the 1022 working.

Activities also work; however, the input selection is not right as the inputs aren't the same between 1020 and 1022. Let's hope Logitech makes 1022 work sooner than later.
