I had a previous samsung cable box with no issues. Got this one added it and it powers "on" but not off with "all off" button on remote. I've done, I think, everything you can imagine to make it work. And yes, the remote is programmed to "turn off" when not in use for cable box. Any help would be appreciated. I am tired of using the "help" button to turn thr cable box off. Very frustrating. Thanks...

Try increasing the Inter-device delay for the cable box, with the 700 this is done on the remote, hold the Help button for 5 sec to get to the advanced setting area.

Hi
Have you got it sorted?
I see there is just a power toggle, rather than discrete On and Off commands, which is most often the case so should not itself pose any problems
You may have checked all this but these are some things to to investigate:-
Does the H700 really try to turn the Samsung off with 'All Off', or does it think the Samsung is already off?
e.g. does the device set up specify that the Samsung should be turned off when it is not being used?
Are any CEC settings interfering (think it is called 'anynet+' for Samsung)?
Does the Power Toggle command from a device page turn the Samsung off ok?
If still stuck, suggest you might try setting the Samsung to 'On All the Time' with added On command at the start of the activity which uses it, and Off at the end of the activity.
Regards
Chris

This was somewhat the issue. Instead it was happening with my cable box. I had to go and change the settings to "should be turned off when it is not being used". This solved the issue. Thanks everyone for their input.
