"Object Moved" message

When I run the Harmony remote software, I get the following:

on: keep-alive
Date: Fri, 16 Jan 2009 09:25:58 GMT
Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0
X-Powered-By: ASP.NET
Location: /EasyZapper/ProcessCheckBrowser/CB_CheckAll.asp?ReturnUrl=%2FEasyZapper%2FNew%2FProcLogin%2FStart%2Easp%3FBrowserIsChecked%3DTrue%26Language%3Denu
Content-Length: 267
Content-Type: text/html
Set-Cookie: HR%5FUSER%5FLANGUAGE=enu; expires=Tue, 01-Jan-2013 05:00:00 GMT; path=/
Cache-control: private

<head><title>Object moved</title></head>
<body><h1>Object Moved</h1>This object may be found <a href="/EasyZapper/ProcessCheckBrowser/CB_CheckAll.asp?ReturnUrl=%2FEasyZapper%2FNew%2FProcLogin%2FStart%2Easp%3FBrowserIsChecked%3DTrue%26Language%3Denu">here</a>.</body>

It's not a firewall/security issue, as I have tried with these on and of. I notice from previous threads that this seems to be an account issue, rather than a general issue.

Re: "Object Moved" message

Hi there,

Close the Harmony Remote Software.

Try deleting the following directory on your hard drive:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Logitech\browser - logitech

Then try launching the Harmony Software again.

Kindest Regards,

Re: "Object Moved" message

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing. Do you live in South Africa? If yes, please try the following:

1. Right-click the Harmony "H" icon in the system tray and click Preferences.
2. Click the Proxy tab.
3. Select Enable Network Proxy.
4. Enter dsl-cache.saix.net into Proxy Host field.
5. Enter 8080 into the Proxy Port field.
6. No User Name and Password required.
7. Select Save Proxy Authentication Settings.
8. Click OK.
9. Open the Harmony Remote software.

Regards,

Omar

Re: "Object Moved" message

Deleting the folder suggested by DonHarmony had no effect. However, OmarHarmony's suggestion got me to thinking. I don't live in South Africa (I'm in Australia), but I set the proxy for my ISP in the program preferences. That fixed it.

It seems the Harmony program does not like my ISP's transparent proxy, and needs to have the proxy specifically set.

Re: "Object Moved" message

I have the same problem (also in Australia).

Works on odd occasions .

Tried deleting C:\Documents and Settings\username\Logitech\browser - logitech

Didn't work

Entering dsl-cahe.saix.net and the other settings came back with following error:

"The proxy host cannot be reached or is incorrect. Check the proxy host setting and try again"

Re: "Object Moved" message

May have a fix by entering your ISP's proxy server settings into the Harmony "H", So far, it has worked 3 out of 3 times (and counting)! If this works, pity it is not highlighted anywhere as it has taken the shine off this new gadget!
