Please bring sequences to these two remotes as well as future remotes.

I had been hoping to finally replace my URC MX-3000 with something with user policies that are more consumer-friendly.  Lack of macros (why they insist on calling them sequences when macros is the industry standard is beyond me) makes the 900 a no-go for me.  A pity really, it has been on my must-have list since I heard about it.  It is moving off of said list until such time as I hear macros are back in.

Missing macros (sequences) is a "no-buy-criteria" for me, as I definitely need them (raw commands including 5 commands put together with other things in a macro).

For now I could use my H1000, but guess I would have a warranty case and Logitech would change my H1000 to a H1100 (which obviously happens from time to time). At first sight a good deal, but I would have to sell it and get myself something else.

So I don't understand why this step back is taken to simply cancel a sensible feature.

The other way would be better in future - sequences with the ability to add more commands than just 5.

Many people in our German Harmony forum already complained about that. Hopefully they'll sign this petition, although they have to register for that.

first, why I am here, my signature.

I realy hope that LT manages to bring back sequences for the higher models.
I only have a small 550, but even I need the power of combining RAW with sequences. Nowadays there are still not enough discrete codes and many thing are only reachable via endless menu-structures. So to automate this, one has to go the RAW+Sequence-way.
Other thing would be if LT allows endless large RAWs.
Still the sequence is the cleaner and more system complaint way, as it fire single commands, the closest way you can get to using an original remote.
So, please bring sequences back and don't let them die in/for other models.

Why this petition continues is a little odd IMHO.  The OP, has clearly stated elsewhere that the addition of sequences to the 900 is an obsolute no go.  At least according to his sources at Harmony.  SO seeing as this topic is going to be ignored by Harmony development team.  Maybe we should start a petition for this request on the next model release.

I was looking forward to getting a 900 as I am in need of a remote with RF.  I have a one and an 880.  I love the One, but I guess I will have to look around for a remote from a different company.

I personally do not use sequences, but I would like to see them back. They add a flavor of customizabilty that a lot of people (appearently) really would like.

In saying that I would “/sign” this with an astrierx perhaps not the 1100, but maybe the 900 but definatly other new models after the 900.

I would very much like to have the Harmony 900 be my next remote purchase. Without sequences, I will be forced to look elsewhere.
