I need the sequences. I would like to buy a new 900, but I cannot as long as sequences are not available.

Unbeliveable. I had the 880 and upgrade to 900.

I have the ATT Uverse decoder

The only way to display the recorded programs is using sequence:

Menu>down arrow>enter

My wife and kids now keep asking why i changed to this remote if this remote is dumber than the previous one.

If Logitech wants a 900 sale from me it is a must have. I rely heavily on sequences to run my PC from my One, and I could not accomplish this on the 900...

Anybody heard any explanation from Logi on why sequences were out?

I know they had a major database breakdown in August 2008 that I think was related to managing sequences. However I wonder if they realize that the consequence is that original remotes still has to be used for certain operations. In other words "coverage" is suddenly not 100% without sequences.

(I use sequences to e.g. change TV picture mode for varying ambient light, in activities like DVD where main navigation controls does not control the TV directly).

I bought the 900, because of the blaster. I wait for that nearly one year. I am really wondering about the missing sequences. I have two weeks time to send the 900 back to get my money back. Sequences are for me a key function. I hope they will  announce a new firmware with sequences soon.

Lack of sequences was a big loss for me. Frankly - I think Logitech is going to abandon the touchscreen devices - if they haven't already! They certainly don't address many issues!

Please add my name as I am desperate for sequences to added. If this is not possible, I would be interested to know why as the One and older remotes such as the 895 has it and it is a similar remote? Or is there a problem getting them to work with the RF Blasters?

Out of interest I have managed to get around the lack of sequence functionality partially by using the Learn RAW command as this will store 2-4 button presses with a 1 second gap between each. I have got it working for one of my needed sequences but not the other two. Need Logitech to do something soon.
