I was researching the 900 and 1100 but came across this whole sequence issue.  A remote of this price point should  have this ability.  Guess I will have to look elsewhere until this feature gets added.

I can't believe that this has not been resolved.  Don't Logitech realize that some of the largest home theater and electronics sites and forums on the web are educating prospective buyers of this lack of functionality?

WOW!  I've learned a MAJOR lesson today.  Decided to upgrade my remotes in house.  Having previously had a number of Harmony remotes, with the last being the 880 ; it didn't take me much time to pick my upgrade remotes.  Bought a Harmony 900 AND a Harmony 1100 along with 2 PS3 adapters and an RF module for the Harmony 1100.  No small $$$!

After hours of trying to program the 900 to my needs, I find out that the top-of-the-line Logitech remote has NO SEQUENCE ABILTY?!?!  Seeing this is actually old news, I failed to do my research in advance.  Thank goodness I have not opened the 1100 box yet - going RIGHT BACK TO Amazon with that.  The 900 looks like I am going to eat 50% on since I opened it already.  Garbage!

Where is the PRODUCT MANAGER for this line?  How on earth can you market a $3xx+ remote without the ability to program short sequence / macro?  NO - Activity is a DIFFERENT CONCEPT.  Sequence = Button A will transmit Button B + Button C + Delay 5 + Button D.  Get it?

What a waste of time and money - no thanks Logitech.  Shame on any reviewer giving these two remotes more than 1 star.

Great thread.....just a shame Logitech will never implement sequence commands for the 900 / 1100. Just hope they decide to add it back to the next remote or I will be looking elsewhere "when" my 900 buttons fail.

I bought a 900 yesterday to replace my one. Not sure, if I will keep it. Logitech, removing the sequences is a real NOGO!

At this place ASCII-Charactres were removed too in comparison to the one.

And please make an option to disable the "swipe"-effect when scrolling through the pages. This is annoying.

I've had my 1100 for a few weeks now and I love it!  RF extender is on it's way and PS3 bluetooth adaptor is up and running!  Great product but the return of sequences would be ideal for this market leading product.
