This is not my first harmony-remote. i've had several.
i got 1 myself and 3 other friends (including my own parents) i do their harmony remotes profiele's
as far as i know, the harmony's software has never been stable. i always had to close the software and start over some times, but now i realise it's the connection to the harmony-servers.
in some way it's a relief to know i'm not the only one who has connection-issues.
but still frustrating! i specially came over to fix their harmony-profile.. but i can't because we can't connect to a harmony-server.
drove 150 kilometers all for nothing. way to go logitech ![]()

The fact that you do NOT address the increased demand for the Christmas season hardly justifies me buying one of these devices. I work for one of the largest electronic retailers in the world and my personal and professional experience with Logitech Harmony products is not confidence experieing. I would love to recommend these devices but I do not as I am given barely an hour to configure these devices and often just getting the account up and running takes over half an hour. I have clients constantly returning these devices and this experience at Christmas is most disappointing.

This is a JOKE!! Was super excited about my Harmony 700, but after having trouble getting it to sync I did some searching online. Your software problems are quite obvious and now server problems, and no support staff? I think this remote is going back, surely some other company makes a similar product and fully supports their product. Guess no more Logitec for me, I mean come on this is a $100 TV remote control!!!!

sweet so I get home with a new logitech 900 that says it's mac compatible, it's not as I have to put my computer in 32 bit mode to make it work, so I switch over to a pc and go to install and it takes 3 hours because the servers are slammed. Back in the box and back to the store for the piece of junk. I wouldn't be ticked if it didn't keep telling that it's my connection that's the problem. On top of that they provide no support? Sweet product fellas.

how can I tell if my problem is server or not? I never get a server "error", but I do get a page in the setup that says "Unable to display content" "Click Next to continue". That NEXT takes me back to the registration screen. Is this the a Server Error of which we're talking?

I'm trying to setup my Harmony 650 and keep recieveing a "Server Error" too.
I was able to add 2 devices, but after I tried adding a Samsung DVD player the error came up.
I tried creating another account, and was able to sign in and get to the same stage, but when I typed in Samsung the error popped up again.
Maybe it has something to do with Samsung devices?
If not, hopefully it's just too much capacity on Christmas and will calm down later tonight.

knowing that harmony's remote software relies on a working connection to the server (somewhere @ the logitech network),
when the software doesn't respond for a long time after each click, it has got to be a lousy connection to harmony's server.
even when speedtest.net returns excellent results, your internet connection is ok, i'll bet it's a bad logitech-server/connection.
retry often.. little chance it will respond.. but it may respond 1 out of 500 mouse-clicks.

How do you retry? I keep getting "Unable to display content" but then I end up back at the log-in screen.
