Again for anyone with a swollen battery call into support and the battery will be replaced even out of warranty. We take swollen batteries very seriously. If it is too swollen to take out please do not force it and just call support. We will take care of you.

The same thing happened to me last night, this is the second time the battery has swollen to the point it can’t be removed without major surgery, I called Logitech today and was told that they can’t do anything since it has already been replaced, after some complaining and some time on hold they came back and told me that they can offer me a discount on a new remote, I declined that offer and told them that these remotes are not cheap and they are still selling the defective harmony one model, why would I want to buy a new one when it will have the same problems. I am very disappointed with Logitech customer service, you pay $200 plus for this remote to find out it will only last you a couple of years at best. They give you a replacement remote but don’t tell you that you will be back in one year only to have the same problem. This is not the end Logitech there should be a recall on these dangerous and potentially fatal fire hazards.

I would LOVE to call customer support. However, I couldn't find the number on the website until I found a little tidbit that said to look up the number through the Harmony software! "Great!" I thought. I opened up the software and found that my remote was expired for service options and all I had to do was pay Logitech $29 to activate phone support.
UNACCEPTABLE. Does anyone have a number that actually works?!?

I have a Harmony 850 with a swollen battery, and Logitech have told me I have to buy a new battery as it is an old model, so CatLogitech's response is not true and is misleading.
Maybe as I do not live in the US of A, Logitech are not taking care of me??
Logitech do not have an online store for spares in Australia, and the US store only ships to US states.![]()
I am waiting for Logitech support to get back to me about getting hold of a battery outside the USA.

An update...
The Logitech support guys I was in contact with asked me to contact Australian customer support by phone, which I did. They found my support case and rather than ask me to buy a new battery, they offered to send me one free!
It took a torturous route, but I now have a new battery for my remote. ![]()
