Re: Dish 722 DVR is missing a DVR button

Totally agree

On all my other Harmonys I have always just added a sequence of 2 DVR commands to the Menu Button can't even make that correction

How about a PiP button?

I used that one on my 890 all the time before it died.

Re: Dish 722 DVR is missing a DVR button

I just discovered something.  It's when you add the Logitech Revue to the "Watch TV" activity is when the DVR button goes away.  I created a "Watch TV 2" activity and this time left out the Revue (used just the TV and the Dish DVR).  Now there's a DVR button for that activity.  For some reason, Logitech thinks that you don't need a DVR button when you add the Revue to the activity.

Re: Dish 722 DVR is missing a DVR button

I dont have the Revue added to the link due to the poor control from IR Remotes and still have no DVR button

Re: Dish 722 DVR is missing a DVR button

Has this been resolved?

I have a DISH receiver VIP722, and would like to buy a Harmony Link. But I am concerned that this most basic of DIsh functions seems to be missing. Is there an easy fix to add the correct button to the main screen?

Also, I would like to be able to control my appleTV and my receiver Peachtree audio is an uncommon brand.

THANKS!

Re: Dish 722 DVR is missing a DVR button

There isn't an issue if you don't include the Logitech Revue in your activity. The Revue screws everything up. Without the Revue, my Watch TV activity works great. I too have a Dish VIP-722k DVR and the Link works great.

As for your other component, Logitech pretty much has every brand IR code known to man. If not, the Link can learn the IR commands from your original remote.
