Ongoing support for this product has been terrible - no updates since January? But the worst sign of all is that the silence from Logitech for it is DEAFENING!
I know Logitech can't coment on future releases but for the customers that have spent our money with you, just give us the courtesy of saying whether or not you plan any ongoing updates? Really, is that too much to ask?

I get the same feeling. I've been trying to use their email help desk on a key assignment issue and I keep getting the same inappropriate canned response and eventual referral to a "buy service" site. It's a simple issue having to do with a simple update so a key can be redefined to operate a specific function on a specific brand of TV. I've been a fan of Harmony Remotes for years and years and have always felt like I was fortunate to have the epitome of universal remote but, the Link is a totally different story. It's a great product, except for some programming refinements BUT, if changing the channel on your TV is so convoluted because of a programming issue, it negates the whole product.

looks that way, it is still hit n' miss if it work with my equipment (mostly my Xbox 360), and now that i have the Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.0 i can't even install the app because it is not compatiable... Squeeze Box app works great, what a let down.

Link (app v 1.3.0) works great on my Galaxy Nexus ics 4.0.4 (sprint ver)... but, is not officially supported/available via Google play, so you can't install and maintain the app as normal. I did find a link to the apk on the forums here so that I could install manually.
Swipe actions work great for my cable box (Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300HD)
pause swipe up
play swipe up
rewind wipe left
fast forward wipe right
No swipe for volume controls (as stated)
Swipes for navigating the cable guide are great too.
Would be nice if you could assign actions to the various swipes as needed or wanted, but defaults for my setup are great.
Added support for swipe functions are key to success for H Link as they replace the tactile feedback from standard remotes.
Have noticed minor reconnect issues after my phone sleeps but they resolve on own just have to wait longer before I have control again. Most of the time I just keep my phone plugged in and set stay awake via dev options which solves this issue for me. I set a static IP via my router for my Harmony Link (inc all other wireless devices) which helps with a lot of the connections issues others have noted.
Setup of devices, activities and learned commands is a bit strange (must connect H link via usb to setup but you sync from phone side) however, the instructions are clear and easy, if followed.
The android app is currently limited but very functional and in my case fun to use. If Logitech only realized what a huge market they would have for this remote. All they would have to do is simply continue to develop/tweak the app for android and the Harmony Link would become a must have for anybody that had an android phone and a need to control there video/audio setup.
