Is there a plan to be able to have more then one Harmony Link on a network at a time in the near future? Is it actually possible now? Or do you plan on rolling it out, if not why not? If so we would end up getting two additional ones and I imagine other customers would as well.

Hello cmftblynu,
Yes you can have multiple Links in a home. Just each Harmony Link will have a different account. The accounts do not need to be actual email addresses. Just in email form.

Sorry to dig this post up but I would like to know if I purchase a second link and using a second account can I setup an activity that will use both links on my network.
I have Projector and screen in the theater room and all the rest of the components in the equipment closet. So I currently have my Link in the equipment closet but would like to add a second in the theater room to control those local devices but create one activity on my ipad app
Thanks in advance

That's too bad, thanks rhachey for the quick reply.
Question for Logitech support team. Is this something that Logitech plans on updating soon? I would imagine that a lot of people would have their equipment and Television in 2 separate rooms. It would be nice to be able to create an activity "Watch a Movie" that sends the commands across 2 links to reach all devises. Its all network based so this should not be a challenge to achieve
If not then would I be able to use a 100' phono extension cable to run the IR blaster cable to my projector from the link? Just wondering if there would be power loss with that length. I currently have one running my Harmony IR extender in my family room but that's only;y 30' and it works fine. It would be great to get all this on the link

Logitech team - can you please let us know whether you will provide a software solution for those of us who want to use two or more Links throughout their house to control devices that are too far away from one another to control with a single Link? Its just not practical to wire IR extenders throughout old houses and it sort of defeats the entire purpose of having a wireless solution.
There are multiple comments on this topic but there is no concrete response from the Logitech team. It would seem rather straight forward have multiple Links integrated. The NEST thermostat system does exactly this - where each of the devices can communicate with one another and are fully integrated into a home wireless network (not to mention controllable from anywhere througha web interface).
Please update us on your plans.

Is there any reason why we can't get a response from Logitech on this request?
I would expect a major company like Logitch would at least have the generic response.
Ignoring your customer base never ends well.

I have this requirement too. I ended up buying 2 Square Connect SQ Blaster+ units which can both be controlled from within the same App. One is defined to control equipment in my media closet and resides there and the other to control the TV and resides in the room.
