Re: Official Suggestion Thread and Some Quick Fixes

why not add audioable commands, like if you hit say a large button in a corner of the screen so you know where it all the time you can issue verble commands like pause, stop, lights and so on, or an always on voice recon program that you could say "Harmony pause" and it does the command similar to whats being offered with XBox Kinnect, wouldnt be diffuclt to add either since Android has such built in features not sure about the iOS side of things.

Re: Official Suggestion Thread and Some Quick Fixes

THat seems fine until you are having a converstation with a friend and the link starts issuing all kinds of commands depending on your converstation.

Re: Official Suggestion Thread and Some Quick Fixes

didnt you notice how I said you would have to say a command word such as Harmony followed by the command, so unless your talking about world peace and bring unity and harmony to the words the odds of using that word followed by a programmed command while the system is in listening mode would be pretty slim.

Re: Official Suggestion Thread and Some Quick Fixes

I am using the harmony link with android, I agree this product has much potential, great concept, but it is not living up to it... setup could be made easier and more customization options are needed.  (1) For example, when I switch to FM tuner I like to leave the TV on but mute it, and I do not see a way to make that happen.  (2) Gestures would also be great, droid should be able to handle this easily... or even voice commands? (3) And with my TV, to change to channel 144.21 I have to press 1-4-4-.-2-1-enter.  It would be nice to have a  favorites list built into the remote... The TV has a favorites list but I find it cumbersome.  But most importantly (5) is persistent login/saved password, because having to type in my password every time I want to use my remote is really a deal-breaker...

Re: Official Suggestion Thread and Some Quick Fixes

For number 1 add the TV to your Activity

For number 5 make sure you have WIFI left on when the screen powers down as this is the usual reason for the Re login

If you wish to discuss further please start a new thread

Re: Official Suggestion Thread and Some Quick Fixes

Long time Harmony remote user. Need the ability to:

1) Change Power-on Delay

2) Change delay between sending commands

3) Change device power on order

4) Send addtional commands to devices

All poosible with other remotes. Is this in the works for Link ?

Re: Official Suggestion Thread and Some Quick Fixes

[ Edited ]

Long time harmony user. Happy, but not thrilled. I researched Peel and RedEye. But got harmony link hoping for updates.

Echoing:

Sequences and macros to activities.

better gesturing combo screens with volume/mute

computer app via ip address (like red eye).

Adding:

Ability to differentiate added buttons from other devices. Such as "Power OFF" for apple tv and my projector.

Color coded maybe? screened back icon? little icon in corner?

All of these are in the the OP.  Logitech will not comment about future features until they are released
