Open a US itunes account. Do not enter your credit card details. Since its a free App you will be able to download it.

I have had the same problem, solved getting the ipad by adding a US account.

Transferd the ipa with SSH to my Ipad2 an installed it.

If i trie to start it, it crashes at startup, any one having simulair problems ?

I tried it also on the Ipad1 both on IOS 5.01 and JB, same problem.

have you tried simply downloading it from the appstore on the device you are installing on, using the same us aacount?

I also tried installing it with Itunes, keeps ons crasching at startup....

Hi hope you can help, I have the same problem you had with trying to get the App for the ipad in the uk.

Cab you send me the IPA file if possible.

Does it all work ok & any idea when the official UK launch is.

I had the same problem, but got a US iTunes account instead. Worked fine.

Can someone please send me the ipa file for the harmony link.

I cant seem to set up a US account on itunes either. It always asks for a payment mechanism and there is no 'none' option.

I would appreciate if someone could send me the ipa file.

I tried to PM the link to those who requested it but for some reason I haven't been able to do so.

I'm sharing this with all the applicable disclaimers: I do not possess any rights whatsoever over the fiel, the ipa corresponds to a free application. This app will only be of any use to legitimate customers who purchased a Logitech Harmony LInk which relies on a software app to be of any use. Since Logitech is not providing the app outside the U.S, and the retailers are not advising users about this, I consider this is a good example of fair use and no "harm (ony" - pun intended) is caused to logitech.

Of course the moderators are free to delete my post and/or ban me from the forums. My only intention is to help other users who like myself unadvertedly bought a nifty piece of hardware totally useless withouth an app you just can't download.

I've orderd the Harmony Link on ebay as well, and as it appears the app is nowhere to be found in the dutch app store. Way to go Logitech!

Took me some time to finally set up a fake US account (needed a us proxy and such, apple.... y u  so difficult).
