Every once in awhile I manage to switch the Harmony Link iPhone app into a strange mode that cannot be switched out of. For reference, here's the normal user interface:

And here's what it looks like when the strange mode mysteriously gets enabled:

See the keyboard icon? Tapping it sends the app into an even weirder mode:

I don't know how I managed to get the app into this mode, and I don't know how to go back to the normal interface. (I'm forced to reinstall.) I also don't know what they're for and I can't find any mention of them in the manual. Anybody have some info about this? Thanks.

The only way I have solved it is to kill the app when showing the list of recent apps (iOS). Then I don't get it back when restarting ... have not figured out what is trigger this to happen.

This has happened to me twice.  To fix it, I delete the app and then re-install it.

ITs some sort of bug thinking you Hsve a GTV activity.  I thought it had been addressed but I guess not

I'd like to have the keyboard functionality on the apple tv device for entering netflix / you tube searches...

I know this isn't much help and I am getting the same "feature".   You don't need to re-install.  All you need to do is terminate the app by exiting to a main screen, double-clicking the home button, holding down on the Harmony Link icon for a few seconds and, when the minus sign appears on the icon, clicking it.  This will terminate the app but not uninstall it.  When you restart, the wierd keyboard screen will be gone.

Hi all, I had the same issue and killed the app to get rid of it. Then to my surprise when runing the app again I`ve lost all my customization, ie TV buttons added to watch TV activity. Any way to recover my old layout?, it took me good amount of time to put all the extra buttons I wanted in each of the activities...
