What a terrible product.

When I first beta tested the Harmony Link, I was super happy.  I was happy that a long time name in remote controls was entering the iOS remote arena. Mind you, they certainly weren't the first to enter the rodeo, you could already buy several at the Apple store.

While I was beta testing it, I gave them a lot of feedback, and figured they'd fix everything before release.

After getting it, the problems immediately started. I use it on multiple iPhones and multiple iPads. There are so many problems, but I think the biggest problem is the server authentication. So often I launch the app only to have to wait minutes or longer for it to show the checkmark. Sigh.

They haven't updated the software in forever, which tells me they don't care. Their software is extremely buggy, especially the iPad version. So if you're thinking of buying one of these, run far away... Go to the Apple retail store, and you'll notice there are other brands..but you won't see this one. Apparently Apple knows how problematic it is.

Re: What a terrible product.

Could not have said it better myself.  Don't forget we routinely have administrators coming in to tell us all they have no news, and the Dev team popped in the other day to ask us about gesture control mode, while ignoring the PAGES of requests and fixes.. they didn't even return to that thread!  Guess that was the one day of the year these lazy bums at logitech do any work.
