4 year old Logitech Clearchat comfort H390 headset sound usually on right ear, sometimes both

[ Edited ]

Hello, I have purchased my Logitech USB ClearChat Comfort H390 Headset about four years ago. The first three years were used on my old computer, which had no problems. Starting last year, however, the sound on the headset would usually come out only on the right side of the ear cuff. To fix this problem, I would have to move the USB wire around to get it back to normal. But this problem continues to exist after it goes back to normal, forcing me to have only my right ear receive sound.

ALSO, starting last year the mic has been producing static noises if not positioned properly. The mic did not produce static when it was in any position before, but now I have to find a good position on the mic to produce my voice.

Edit: The first three years used were on my old computer (running windows XP) but during the last year it had the mic issue. Then I got a new computer this year (running windows 7) and receives the same mic problem but now the sound only comes through the right ear.

I have same problem from yestarday onwards, mine almost 2 yrs old,  this issue started when I did config in control pannel->sound

but any way that config didn work, but created problem in my head phone ,now i am not able to hear only in right speaker

i feeling its not hardware issues its sofware issue.

logitech team has to provide update drivers for this series head phones.
