Any risk to damage the headset by charging the headset directly to wall outlet (instead of the computer USB port) with the use of my iPhone USB-based adapter? Thanks.

The standards for USB devices should mean that you can charge from anything that supports those standards.
I have charged USB kit from just about every option going.
I have even seen main USB chargers on offer as accessories for some Logitech hardware.

Thanks, I was wondering this myself.
I am going to assume that means that you can use either 220v or 110v iphone chargers.

They are usually adaptive these days. They respond to the voltage. It should say on the box.
My new Asus Nexus 7 arrived with a charger that also had a bit to convert it to the UK system. I guess the same thing arrives in the US and other countries with another plug adaptor.
If anything, a separate charger is probably more efficient. For a start it isn't straining the PC's power supply.
