ClearChat PC wireless and G7

Hi

I own both a ClearCat PC wireless and a G7 gaming mouse. After installation of the headphones i found that there are times when my G7 would lose connection the the PC (the mouse cursor bascially stops moving). Is there any way to resolve this ? (moving their usb bluetooth sets away from each other seem to help a little... but i am not sure this solution is permant)

Well like i said, putting them further away seemed to have but occasionly issues with mouse disconnection still happen. What I am asking is, would putting them further away be a permanent solution as recommanded by logitech or do you advise another solution?

Re: ClearChat PC wireless and G7

I don't think there exists any other solution, as this is not a hardware issue, but an issue with the limitations of physics and the size of the wireless spectrum.  I have a clearchat wireless, MX Revolution wireless, wireless keyboard, and wireless internet.  I had some connection issues early on, but I found that the more closely and directly each dongle is to the item transmitting to it, the less likely I am to have an issue.  I used an extender to put my mouse dongle right on my desk where the mouse is, rather than on the back of the computer, and an extender to put the headset dongle up on top of the computer so it's up at the same height as my head.  I put the keyboard dongle on the audiohub I have behind my monitor.  Just play with the location of the dongles till you stop having issues.  In my current configuration I have had absolutely no connection issues, and I'm pretty much the poster child for wireless interference.

Re: ClearChat PC wireless and G7

ah thanks CamIAm .. after some trial and error i realised what you said was correct. i also found that turning on your phone's bluetooth and placing it near your bluetooth device (mouse etc) might result in it disconnecting too
