Re: Clearchat Wireless Headset - Left Channel Problem

This is a very nefarious problem. If the headset were not otherwise such an excellent thing, I would gladly simply throw it out. But I have tried many others and nothing comes close. And with all these people having the problem, and Logitech having such a longstanding reputation for quality, I keep thinking something will happen. But nothing. I returned mine to them via UPS at their expense and received a replacement in May 2010, and it went after a couple months. I do not have the energy to continue this but I really love the thing, it is like a crazy, beautiful girlfriend you cannot live with or without.

Re: Clearchat Wireless Headset - Left Channel Problem

Yeah so... I had the same problem. I tried something and it has seemed to work so far. But lets see if it fixes anyone elses or how long it lasts.

I have XP

I went to Control Panel...then Sounds and Audio Devices... Selected Audio from the tabs.  Under Sound Playback with Logitech Wireless Headset chosen, i clicked advanced and then changed the setting from desktop stereo speakers to Stereo Headphones.

And for some reason i havent had any left ear problem since. Hopefully it atleast a temporary fix

I've had the same left-ear, no-sound, and sound cuts in and out problem too.  Can't believe this thread is a year old and still no word about any fix for an obvious design or manufacturing flaw.

hemoo45,

I just tried that.  If it works, it doesn't seem to last but a few seconds.
