My G35 Headset has worked great for everything until now.
The character voices in D3 are only coming through the right earphone. This happens for all quest and lore dialog. Cut sceens and gameplay effects seem fine.
It's probably a D3 issue considering I havent had any other problems with this headset. BF3, Skyrim, Swtor, etc. all work fine.
windows 7 64(all current updates and fresh install)
Logitech Gaming Software 8.20.74
Onboard sound was disabled in bios and drivers never installed.
Can provide more info if necessary.

My G930 is having similar issues.
So I have to emulate the Surround sound rather, but then vibration/bass and sometimes if too many noises happen at once it seems to make a horrid jarring crippled-bass noise as if there's too much bass so it distorts it sorta thing.
Hopefully they release a new **bleep** software update of LGS for G930 because it's old, needs to be worked up and needs Diablo 3 to be added to it course. A giant launch such as that game warrants a new update as well as tweaks to fix the problems that come randomly for the hardware....

Well, for me surround sound doesn't fix it because the rumbling of heavy bass noises F's me over. It was all fine and dandy until Azmodan started talking..... then I was like OH GOD THE HEADSET BASS QUALITY, GAAHH! And have to switch it to 2.0 for those moments as the vibration-crackling over the bass doesn't happen....

I'm having the same problems with D3. I had to lower the base below zero to prevent thing.
When is Logitech going to finally release new software for the G930 and G35. It's like they fired all the people that were making software ....

I ended up uninstalling LGS 8.2 and installing g930_100364b_x64.exe from here:
The old software has MUCH better sound in Diablo 3. With LGS I had to turn down the bass to -4 and it still sounded bad and crackly.
With the old software the sound is much improved in comparison.
