If I use the F540 on my PS3, will I be able to hear blurays that I play on my PS3?

Yes, you should have no problem receiving sound while playing Blu-rays on your PS3. Blu-ray is simply another format for reading and writing data. Instead of the normal red laser light, it uses a blue colored laser which focuses with greater precision, thus enabling more data to be stored in less space.
