I've got my new G35's hooked up and they seem to work fine with movies that play using Windows Media Player, but the movies that play through VLC only output a high pitched sound. The sound comes out fine using my desktop speakers.
Anyone know of a special audio configuration that is needed to get the G35's to work with VLC?

After more testing I've found that the problem is limited to video using DTS audio. VLC can play these files using speakers OK. Sound from video files not using DTS play fine through the headphones using VLC.
Has anyone got DTS audio to play on through their G35's?

I'm having the same problem. DTS just wont work on any player I try the G35's with.
I've seen DTS reference on here for the G35 - but does it actually work? If so, what am I doing wrong:
- Player recognising DTS material
- Surround Sound switched on
- Players definitely set to output DTS/7.1/5.1
Any answers please?
