Hi, I've had my G35 for about a year and some months now and I'm fully satisfied with it.

However since this summer I have a new computer (saying this because I don't recall having the problem with my old laptop).

It's this one, minus a Scorpio Black which I replaced with an OCZ Vertex 2 120GB, but that shouldn't matter.

So here's the problem I'm having, whenever I'm using the headset and unplug or plug in another usb thing the sound drops to about 40% of what it was before. However the settings on the logitech havn't changed and the windows sound is the same (25).

Unplugging and replugging resolved the issue but I'm curious about why this is happening.

Also sometimes when I receive a steam chat message sound it does pretty much the same thing, but that's not always so I don't know what could trigger that.

So anymore info needed can be asked here I will reply as fast as possible.

At this very moment the G35 is plugged in the USB hub of the Razor BlackWidow Ultimate (http://www.razerzone.com/minisite/blackwidow)

The G35 did the same issue on that hub and on the laptop itself (before I got the keyboard)

Hello Rayfloyd,

Please test your headset plugged directly in to your computers USB port and not in to a USB hub.  If you are able to, please test your headset on a different computer.  The G35 does have a two year warranty.  If your problem persists, please contact Customer Care for your region for further assistance and a possible warranty replacement.

I am having the same issue on two computers using the 8.20 drivers.
