Hello. The title says it all pretty much. If I use these drivers/software I get perfect both speakers sound in everything but when I use something in a browser like Chrome/Firefox/Internet Explorer I get sound only from the right speaker. (I mainly use the software/drivers for the voice changing and voice preview).
Now if I uninstall the drivers/software everything works well. Not sure how long an update fix will take for this but is it fine if I use the G930 without the 8.30 drivers? After all it seems to function well without them, seems like the 8.30 drivers aren't really "drivers" but rather software.
This first started when I booted my PC today and I got a runtime error from the logitech 8.30 software I looked up the issue and it's known. I used a different USB port and it fixed the issue but then I only get sound from right speaker in browsers. Like when I watch a youtube video/watch a stream/basically any sounds in a browser. And like I said before, whether it's Chrome/Mozilla/Internet Explorer 9. But I primarily use Chrome and use the others for backup.
I am using the latest version of all those browsers listed. (Not firefox but don't think that'll change much).
Lastly I want to add that I wasn't doing anything different on my PC prior to this, just did a simple PC restart and this started happening.
How can I fix this? I would really appreciate some help.
Thanks in advance.

Pretty similar issue, but I dont think I even updated the LGS until after the problem started happening(which was like 2 days ago)
Its not that sound is only coming from right speaker, just that its disproportionatly louder on right speaker in comparison with left. But only in browsers like Chrome/Firefox/IE.
You arent the only one. I saw This Fix - but you pretty much have to compeltely disable Surround sound manually
Im like you, waiting for a real fix.

Hi there. I have the exact same problem as you. I started to notices this problem about two days ago. My right speaker being louder and has more bass than the left speaker. It happens when I use any type of browser.
But the speakers acts normal when I listen to music in my media library or while playing Steam games.
I hope Logitech releases a new driver/software version soon so this problem will go away.

Yup, we need a fix on this. And again it happens with nothing else but browsers. I'm listening to music, games, skype, ventrilo, everything fine BUT browsers.

Yeah sounds like youre having the same issue as well. It works fine with winamp/Media players or whatever. Someone posted in my other thread saying they started having the same problem around 2 days ago as well - potentially from a flash player update which is what the browsers use.
Hopefully more information becomes available.

The good thing is I can use the headset just fine without the driver/software (not sure what it is exactly lol). I let windows 7 install the drivers it usually does every USB device and everything works fine but the 7.1 surround sound.

The issue is a flash problem. The latest version of flash fixed the issue in IE but chrome is still having the issue. http://forums.adobe.com/message/4553635?tstart=0

I am having the EXACT same issue! Left is far quieter than the right.
I didn't update any software though, save perhaps Chrome. It might've auto-updated. This just started a couple of hours ago. What do I do?

Having the same problem, it worked fine last night so I can only assume this is some sort of auto-update that messed things up. Gah!
