I have just recently purchased a G930, ive installed the headset via the Logitech Gaming Software 8.01 as i also have a G15 keyboard.

So the device is giving me sound but the bass is distorting heavily at the loudest volume on my headset. If i lower the volume i will get nicer bass... but that means i have to listen to music and games quieter just to enjoy it.

Is my headset defect?

My only temporary fix for myself as of now is to go to the advanced equalizer and reduce the Preamp by -6 -7 :/

Hi GreyFoxlndy,

Would you be able to try this on another computer, so you can find out if it is the headset causing the issue or not?
