still have... All issues except Windows sound panel crashing (but relevant to it issues still appears randomly on Windows start (good or not good): UI may not be executable or there just no sound at all or even Windows sound service not launched and no sound too). In addition I have more bugs because of using two G930 headsets (using one of G930 headsets while another G930 headset is being charged).

I have also been experiencing this problem.
I am currently running Windows 7 (x64) Ultimate Edition with an Asus P67 Deluxe Motherboard, Intel 2500K, EVGA Nvidia 580GTX, OCZ Vertex 2 SSD, and 8 GB of ram. All of my other hardware drivers/software drivers are up to date as well. I am currently running the latest version of the Logitech Gaming Software as well (version 8.20.74).
In order to fix the issue of getting no sound with my G930's, I have had to unplug the dongle, exit the Gaming Software, restart the gaming software, and reinsert the dongle. Seems like a major pain just to get these expensive headphones working...
Logitech...isn't this supposed to be your bread and butter of headsets? Isn't this supposed to be the gamer's choice? If this continues, I think I may return this holiday present and go after one of your competitor's products that might just be more reliable...

Hi all
I am experiencing a slightly different problem with my surround sound.
I have posted a thread but no one has answered.
here is my problem:
Basically when I have surround on it seems to work fine apart from when something is happening on the right side of me, it sounds like its only happening on the single right speaker and it blocks out the noise on all 6 of the other speakers (virtually I mean of course as there are only 2 actual speakers).
When I hear noise anywhere else like on the left front or back, the sound is clearly coming from the correct side but you can still slightly hear it blending across the other speakers as it should be.
Its weird because it kind of makes the other ear feel deaf when it happends and I know its not my ears because I swapped the headset around so the right side was on my left ear and it still happends.
It seems this is most noticeable in BF3 but also happeneds in other games. I have tried changing the ingame settings and software settings and I have the latest drivers.
Any help would be greatly apreciated!! im trying to figure out whether I should get them replaced. thx

I was having the issue with my surround sound not working, for my G930, after restarting the PC. If I made sure the USB connection was unplugged when I started my PC, then plugged in after the OS loaded, the surround sound would indeed work.
I have installed the 8.20.74 and it appears to have corrected that behaviour. I also use pc speakers plugged into the 8mm headset reciever. When I want to use the speakers, I use the "playback devices" (right click the volume icon in the task bar and select "Playback devices") settings to change the default device (right click on the desired device and select "Set as Default Device"). When I want the head set back, I simply change the default device to my G930.
I think this is going to work for me. Thanks for the update.
