is this intentional or not?  i will turn it off so it can charge, but then a few moments later it will turn on by itself.  I even un-plug the dongle but it does the same thing? however when my computer is completly off... it will just charge away w.o any issues...  could it also be a loose connection with the charger (dobut it though)

EDIT: has to do something with the base charger....

i used my blackberry's mini usb on my headset and all works well... charges like a charm and does not auto turn on whatsoever

PeaDoughBear, did you find any solution to this issue? I have the g930 and it is doing the exact same thing (turning on by itself).

I realize how old this question is, but someone like me may come along wanting an answer. I don't think the problem is with the base, but rather the software. I have the same problem and exiting the software stops the annoying behavior.
