Everytime I boot to desktop or wake from sleep, I hear the USB connect/disconnect about 2-3 times.  The thing is, I have yet to have any issues using my headset. Despite it making those noises, it works fine. It's just annoying to hear the sounds everytime I wake from sleep. The problem occurs both when I try plugging the dongle directly into my motherboard as well as my case's USB ports.

I have the same problem.  Haven't been able to figure out how to stop it, but it's the computer and Logitech gaming software "recognizing" the headset on power up.  Or on wake up in your case.
