G930 charge problem.

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a pair of G930's(few days ago) and I'm having an issue with them. I've heard the max charge time per use is 10 hours, but my software only ever goes up to 8, no matter long I leave them plugged in.

I've got Windows Vista 64 bit, if that helps. Is this normal? If not, do any of you have a fix or shall I exchange them for another set?

Re: G930 charge problem.

When you disconnect them, the orange LED should be steady orange, as in, not blinking. If this is the case then that's all you're gonna get :smileytongue:

8 hours isn't bad at all.

Re: G930 charge problem.

Im also having a charge problem with my g930. I put the cable in, and it charges for like a minute, but then after that, the charge light turns off ( if my headphones are off) or it just resumes using the battery life (if the headphones are being used with the cable). Is there any solution to this or do i have to RMA this?

Re: G930 charge problem.

My headset seems to have a flashing orange light when charging now instead of it being solid orange and if i use it while on charge it dies then switching back on continiously...

1-1-11

I've had my g930 for 5 days now and it stopped recharging.  A green light will flash when the pwr button is pressed for 2-3 seconds as well as at the usb pwr cable end.  They both flash and then nothing.  Once in a great while it will flash orange and nothing.  Is the rechargable battery dead?  Got this from Newegg.

Re: G930 charge problem.

Can a developer or mod respond to this post please?  I'm considering exchanging my 930's for a different product.  I have 3 of these headsets and one of them failed.  When the power is attached to the headset, there isn't a red light or anything.  Is the headset in permanent 'sleep' mode?  Has the battery failed after 5 days?  Is the hole next to the power connection a 'reset' button and if so how do i use it?

thanks

Re: G930 charge problem.

If I unplug mine soon as the light stops blinking, it shows 8 hours. If I leave it plugged in all night next morning it shows 10 hours.

In any case the time bar in the app is not very reliable anyway. To me it seems just as a ball park figure.

Re: G930 charge problem.

Bought the headset a little more than a week ago. When I try charging it blinks orange, the headset automatically turns on, the G930 UI on my computer says "2 hours until fully charged". After a couple of seconds it shuts down, unable to charge.

I've tried changing USB ports, pressing the power button numerous times, and nothing works. Not sure what to do...
