G930 ear pads replacement

Hi,

I have a problem with my G930, both it's ear pads are damaged. The 'cloth' that covers the foam on the ear pads has torned. I didn't do anything unusual with the headset, this just happened due to regular usage.

I have already contacted customer support here in Brazil and they told me that Logitech don't have spare ear pads for this headset, not here nor anywhere in the world.

How am I supposed to fix this problem? The headset works like a charm, but these ear pads really annoy me. It seems like a simple matter to me, you make a product that has some parts that may need exchange from time to time (like batteries and ear pads), and then you make this parts available for sale.

I would really like some help solving this matter.

PS.: Please Logitech, sell me a pair of these ear pads, I'll pay for the international shipping :smileyvery-happy:

PS2.: Make it 3 pairs, by the time I go through all 3 I'll probably need a new Headset.

Re: G930 ear pads replacement

Add me to the list for 2 sets, I have both the wireless G930 and the wired G35, which use the same ear cushions.

The cushions on my G35 have deteriorated like a bad sunburn - no, I do not use any hair care products.

If you do get replacement ear cushions, be sure to follow the instructions for replacing the battery to install new ear cushions, and don't just stretch them over their base to remove.

I would like to add to this thread, but my situation is slightly different. I would like to change my ear pads from the faux pleather to felt fabric ones. I was switching over from a wired Sennheiser and the BIG thing that bugs me is that I wear glasses and evey time the headphones shift on my head, I get a distracting rubbing sound which wouldn't happen if these were felt fabrix covered ear pads! This didn't happen with the Sennheiser ones and I have always had fabric pads, so I didn't realize this would bother me or be an issue.

I would also love some replacement ear pads for the 930. The right hand side tore about a month ago, and the left hand side has 3 cracks in it.

Re: G930 ear pads replacement

Add me to the list. If mine wear out before the headphones break, I don't think I'll be purchasing another Logitech product. There is NO excuse to not offer replacements after spending up to $150 on these a couple years ago. The pads come off, so there is no reason why $10 replacements couldn't be offered.

Re: G930 ear pads replacement

After normal wear and tear for a year now, all the pads on my headset have started to deteriorate. The top part, and the side cups. My roommate frequently tells me there's black specs on my ear (they are coming off and sticking to m y ears, haha). If any admin/moderator checks this thread and sees we needs replacements, I'll be happy to offer what I can to prove I own the headset. I don't have the receipt but I still have the headset, and box it came in. (Can take a picture if needed).
