My G930 was behaving normally and maintining it's wireless connection perfectly. I then downloaded and installed the latest driver and software release, 18.104.22.1685. Ever since, about 10 to 15 minutes apart, my wireless transmitter will disconnect my headset. The green light on the USB stick will flash, and my headset will make an audible sound. This is the same sound heard when turning the headsets power on.
This first happened on my work laptop, which worked perfectly prior to driver installation. I wanted to use suround sound at work, and ended up making my headset painfully annoying.
Thinking this might me a localized wireless interferance issue, I turned off all wireless transmitters close to me and observed. No change in symptoms. Thinking it might be cellular interferance, I tested the headset at 10,000 feet on three different flights, two different airlines. Two of the flights had no onboard wireless. No change in symptoms. I uninstalled the drivers and the problem persisted.
I plugged the USB stick into my home computer, which had the CD Packaged drivers shipped with the headset. Version 1.0.345. No problems. Just to be sure, I turned on 4 wifi routers on diferent channels, set my cellphone to be a wireless hub and had my laptop utilize the phone as a modem to download pointless internet stuff. No problems objserved.
I then updated the drivers on my home computer to the same as my laptop. Problems observed.
Problem: Headset disconnects while being used. The device reconnects several times, and continues normally for a short period of time.
Problem did not exist until the installation of version 385 drivers. Problem persists past uninstallation fo 385 drivers.

Hi looterkfm. I cannot tell you a solution, but my headset also shows this behavior since a few weeks.
Usually Microwaves (even distanced ones) make it much harder to stay connected. So if there is a small kitchen close to your room, a metal isolation may help a bit.
I will observe the relation between my wireless and headset connection in the next time.
Did you try to position the USB stick somewhere else?
And I have a few weird sounds before I loose the connection. After a small click sound (same when you target a sonic distance measurement instrument) occurs the chance for a connection loss seems to be much higher. So maybe this is a signal that there are connection problems. Clicks and weird sound quality.
I would like to know if the built-in antenna (in stick and headset) could have a loose connection, and whether there were options to exclude this as possible reason.

If you've ruled out any wireless interference and if at all possible, tried the headset on a different computer, then I suggest contacting Customer Support in your region for further assistance/warranty information.

Hey i just have this headset a week now..
Worked perfect out of the box with the software from the CD.
After i updated yesterday i have this same issue unfortunatly...
Isn't there a way for Logitech to get the new software fixted?
I think many users of the G930 will have this problem after updating so
PLEASE FIX IT

I've got a simular problem with my headset. Although it depends: sometimes it does reconnect several times an hour/day and sometimes i don't have the problem for several days. Maybe i could use the software that comes with it instead of the latest update? Got the headset for 3 months now and it is bugging the hell out of me. If it doesn't get a solution i might just sell it/RMA it and buy an ROG headset.

It isn't a driver problem, I have been running 1.00.364 since it came out with no reconnect issues. I really do suggest getting it replaced under warranty if you are having frequent disconnects. I had one pair that just randomly started disconnecting all the time about two weeks after I got them and after a warranty replacement the new set has been great.
I was sure it was a hardware problem because I had another pair to test with, I could plug my house mate's into my computer and mine into his. Mine reconnected a lot in either, his was fine in either. Didn't even reboot the computers and we had the same motherboard and OS.
My current plugins (v1.9) for the legacy G930 drivers:

I'm having the same connect / unconnect issue as the op. It just started tonight. Nothing has chenged either with the system or the house. No idea why it started. VERY annoying in games for it to do this.
I will not bother calling tech support becase they end up not solving your problem. After talking to tech support on another issue with my G930 headset they told me my battery should last a month on one charge. Mine lasts one day. I asked over and over for a new battery and they refused. In the end they sent me a new usb cable to charge it with which did absolutely nothing..as I told them. I doubt they would do anything about this problem other than run me through dozens of things to check which I've already checked and then send me something I don't need.
I hope someone finds and answer. I'm going to keep looking on here and the net for an answer.
